The longest day of the year in the Northern Hemisphere will occur on June 21st. This day, often referred to as Summer Solstice, marks the day when Earth’s rotational axis is most inclined towards the star that it orbits: the sun!
Work is well underway on the reconstruction of John Street from Cathcart to Edinburgh. Much of the sanitary sewer work has been completed in the Cathcart intersection. Work has started to move away from the intersection as the Contractor continues to install new sanitary sewer, water mains, and aqueduct up John Street towards Edinburgh. The first few sections of the aqueduct are nearly complete and the work is moving along smoothly. Continue reading
