STEM Engineering Group Inc. was founded in 1994 which means that this year we are celebrating 25 years in business in Sault Ste. Marie! We had a staff birthday party to celebrate this milestone.
STEM Engineering Group wishes to announce the new addition of Virat Patel to our team. Virat joins our firm as a structural/mechanical designer with 2 years of experience. We look forward to his working with us and all of the contributions that he will bring to our company.
STEM Engineering Group wishes to announce the addition of Andrew Mallette to our team. Andrew has been working in the engineering industry since 2005. He is very familiar with inspection, design, drafting, and management aspects of both Civil and Structural engineering projects. Andrew will provide various design and inspection tasks for a range of projects here at STEM, including but not limited to civil, structural, and municipal infrastructure designs for residential, commercial, and industrial applications.
We welcome Andrew, and his family, to our group and look forward to his ongoing contributions.
As this year’s construction of the Fort Creek Aqueduct project moves into its third month of construction we are roughly halfway! Work continues with installation of the new aqueduct up John Street, plus upgrading the sewer and water systems on John Street. Within the next little while we hope to begin rebuilding the roadway at the Cathcart intersection and along John Street. Continue reading
STEM Engineering Group wishes to announce the new addition of Kirby Sampson to our team. Kirby joins our firm as a structural/mechanical technologist with over 10 years of experience. We look forward to his working with us and all of the contributions that he will bring to our company.
Work is well underway on the reconstruction of John Street from Cathcart to Edinburgh. Much of the sanitary sewer work has been completed in the Cathcart intersection. Work has started to move away from the intersection as the Contractor continues to install new sanitary sewer, water mains, and aqueduct up John Street towards Edinburgh. The first few sections of the aqueduct are nearly complete and the work is moving along smoothly. Continue reading
