The Civil Engineering Team at TULLOCH offers services to private and government sector clients. We provide solutions over a diverse range of engineering including Municipal, Transportation, Environmental, Drainage and Hydrology, Land Development and Utility Scale Renewable Energy Facilities. Our team is known for innovative thinking and maintaining client satisfaction through quality and timely work. The work environment is fast paced, challenging, and rewarding.
We are currently looking for a full time Intermediate/Senior Civil Designer to join our Sudbury team. This is a permanent, full time position to begin as soon as a successful candidate is found.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist Project Managers in all aspects of project delivery;

Preliminary and detailed design and drawing preparation for various civil engineering projects (Site plans, Servicing drawings, Drainage, Roads and Highways);

Specification writing;

Ensuring plans are in compliance with applicable standards and drafting requirements;

Estimation of tender quantities; and,

Inspection and contract administration of civil engineering works.
Skills and Knowledge:

A college diploma from a Civil Engineering Technician or Technology program or equivalent experience;

5-10 years experience preferred. Minimum of 2 years experience in the design and construction of civil engineering works;

Experience in the use of analytical and design software including AutoCad and Civil 3D;

Experience in the use of Total Station and GPS Survey Equipment would be considered an asset;

Excellent written and verbal communication skills;

Excellent problem-solving skills;

Ability to work in a team environment;

Ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks in a fast-paced environment;

Valid Ontario Driver’s License;

Willing to travel for site inspections and field work; and
-
OACETT C.E.T or C. Tech., designation would be considered an asset.
