GEOMATICS & MAPPING
We specialize in spatial measurement, control and communication of data through mapping.
TULLOCH specializes in spatial measurement, control and communication of data through survey and mapping. The deliverables from surveying and mapping feed into all our value-added engineering services.
Surveying - TULLOCH is the second largest survey firm in Eastern Canada and employs 18 Ontario Land Surveyors, 5 Canada Land Surveyors and over 250 staff. TULLOCH leverages this bandwidth to successfully execute demanding projects and meet critical deadlines while maintaining cost-effectiveness.
Mapping and LiDAR - The TULLOCH Mapping Solutions team works extensively with mobile LiDAR surveying technology and boasts detailed plan generation experience for rail, highways and municipal road engineering applications. Established in 1991, our team has more operational mobile LiDAR scanning experience than any other group in Canada. The core team brings over 50 years of combined experience in mobile LiDAR alone, along with a resume of over 250 successful high-accuracy mobile LiDAR corridor projects across North America and abroad. Our mapping services include static scanning, mobile and airborne LiDAR, QA/QC mapping, base drawing production and asset management mapping.

SELECT PROJECTS

Metrolinx Electrification
GTA, ON
TULLOCH performed an engineering survey of six Metrolinx railway commuter corridors from Union Station in Toronto. TULLOCH used a combination of mobile LiDAR, static LiDAR, conventional infill ground survey and legal surveys to complete the project.

VivaNetwork Expansion Green Route, York Region, ON
TULLOCH provided a detailed engineering topographic survey of the VivaNetwork Expansion Plan, Assignment B, Green Route. Our client was SNC Lavalin who was selected as the prime engineering consultant for the project. The VivaNetwork Expanion project involves expanding York Region's rapid transit network by implementing new services.

Metrolinx Highway 401 RER Tunnel, Toronto, ON
TULLOCH was retained by Toronto Tunnel Partners to provide pre-construction engineering for the Highway 401 RER Rail Tunnel Project. TULLOCH merged existing survey datasets from the Metrolinx Electrification Project with new mobile LiDAR data for the highways and a new conventional ground survey for the areas north of the railway corridor.
