The Geomatics team at TULLOCH offers services to private and government sector clients across Canada. We provide a full range of traditional surveying services as well as construction monitoring, precision layout, and high-definition 3D laser scanning. We are innovative in our approach and whenever possible utilize emerging technologies to improve both the efficiency and quality of deliverables to our clients.
We are currently looking for a Land Surveyor in Training (ALSA Articling Pupil) or a recent graduate from a surveying program looking to start the articling process to join our team. This is a permanent full-time position to begin as soon as the successful candidate is found.
Responsibilities:

Undertake field work related to legal and topographic surveys, engineering, and construction layouts.

Prepare and check legal and topographic surveys, engineering, and construction layouts.

Assist with survey calculations and prepare plans.

Prepare field notes and maintain records and files related to the job.

Prepare job estimates.

Work and communicate effectively with clients.

Provide client consultation.

Other duties as required.
Skills and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Professional Surveying (Geomatics) or equivalent and possess a valid CBEPS completion certificate.

In the process of obtaining an ALS designation or prepared to commence articles upon joining our firm.

Thorough knowledge of CAD systems.

An aptitude for business development with strong interpersonal skills and communication skills.

Ability to work and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced team environment.

Understanding the use and application of both aerial mapping and LiDAR would be considered an asset.

Ability to travel and complete site inspections and field work.
