The Geomatics team at TULLOCH offers services to private and public sector clients across Canada. We provide a full range of traditional surveying and mapping services.
We are currently looking for a full-time Ontario Land Surveyor to join our Local Market Surveys Team in our Huntsville, Parry Sound or Sudbury offices. This is a permanent full-time position to begin as soon as a successful candidate is found.
Working under the supervision of the General Manager, Geomatics, the primary responsibilities will include:

Working with the support of Project Coordinators for bidding and proposal preparation, project setup, logistics, resource and technical planning and execution, billing, and collections

Project management of complex cadastral surveys for land development, retracement, construction, and other Local Market Surveys

Supervise field crews in the field and remotely from office locations

Supervise drafting as well as QA/QC staff in the creation of cadastral survey products

Checking and signing cadastral survey plans, retracement, and construction layout reports

Internal and external client relations and business development

Work together with other TULLOCH business lines including Planning & Engineering to provide top level integrated services to our clients
Skills & Experience

Licensed Ontario Land Surveyor (OLS)

Minimum (5) years practical cadastral experience with preference to candidates who have worked in the Land Development market

An aptitude for business development with strong interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to work and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced team environment

Ability to travel and complete site inspections and field work if required
