OUR SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

Our commitment to social responsibility is focused on building a supportive and inclusive workplace, ensuring our operations protect people and the environment and contribute to the communities in which we live and work.

Community Contributions - TULLOCH is committed to supporting the communities in which we live and work.  Each year we contribute 10% of our profits to charitable organizations in our communities. These organizations have included Habitat for Humanity, Life Water Canada, the Terry Fox Run, the Cure Foundation and many others including soup kitchens, pregnancy support centers, and hospital foundations.

First Nations Commitment Program - TULLOCH is a proud member of the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business and has implemented a First Nations Commitment Program. We have a strong commitment to developing honest and open relationships with our Indigenous partners and are committed to developing long-lasting benefits for First Nation communities, individuals, and future generations. We support local economic development opportunities for Indigenous businesses.

Support for Higher Education - Each year, TULLOCH pledges five one-thousand-dollar scholarships eligible to spouses or dependents of staff currently enrolled in post-secondary education. These scholarships are TULLOCH's way of promoting higher education and recognizing the sacrifices made by staff and their family members.

Carbon Emissions and Clean Energy - TULLOCH has been involved in many clean energy projects, including wind farms, solar farms, hydro developments and high voltage transmission lines. In the past 13 years, TULLOCH has participated in the development and construction of over 3000 MW of wind power and over 1000 MW of solar power, including the largest clean energy projects in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba and Ontario.

Innovation in Industry - TULLOCH has been an industry disruptor in the application of mobile LiDAR for transportation infrastructure in Ontario. Our Geomatics experts have been on the forefront of mobile LiDAR technology, having pioneered mobile LiDAR mapping services for clients in the hydrology, transportation, municipal, energy and utility sectors across Canada and abroad.
